John, Alyce and I outside the museum.
Alyce and I are enjoying an eagle exhibit
Tony and I were interested in this exhibit what showed the part of Alaskan history played by President Dwight Eisenhower. He signed the bill making Alaska a state. Here we are waiting for the ferry to Haines.
Tony was able to get several shots of a pod of whales from the ferry as we made our way toward Haines.
Again, the Alaskan scenery is breathtaking!!
We saw a couple of lighthouses on this trip.
Here I am on the ferry in front of another of Alaska's snow capped mountains!
The Malaspina, docked at Haines
Upon arrival at 9:30 pm, we checked into the Oceanside RV Park in Haines. We had called ahead for a reservation since we were getting in so late. It's a good thing because they had no room to spare. The spot was right on the waterfront within easy walking distance of town.
